My daughter wants to be an astronomer when she grows up and nearly everything she owns is space-themed. I was shopping for myself when I came across these and knew she would absolutely love them and she absolutely will (she's getting them for her birthday this month). Her ears won't tolerate anything but gold and at other stores/websites there isn't much in gold between too grown-up and too juvenile. These are perfect for my almost-11-year-old and I got them at the sale price too!
