The Claddagh originated in a fishing village situated near Claddagh in Galway, Ireland, and became popular in the mid-1800's. Showing two hands holding a heart which wears a crown, the symbol, although often worn as a wedding ring, is rendered here as a set of beautiful 14k gold earrings.
