Moonstone Jewelry realizes you may need help in figuring out your ring size and so we have provided a printable Ring-Sizer for this purpose. Please understand this is not necessarily an accurate science. Fingers shrink and swell with the weather, activity, etc. Don't worry too much, you can always return your ring for another size. See our return policy here.

Note: Most local jewelry professionals are only too happy to help you ascertain your ring size. It takes about a minute and they hope of course, you'll see them for your future jewelry needs.

Here are some tips to make your ring size measurement more accurate:

- Confirm the printed paper size with a ruler.

- Pull tightly. The sizer must fit snugly to produce an accurate size.

- Don't measure cold fingers. This is when fingers are their smallest.

- For the most accurate reading, measure your finger at the end of the day when it is largest.

- Generally, tapered rings will fit your normal ring size, while bands 1/4" or wider will require a half size larger.

- If purchasing a ring for someone else, borrow one of their rings (from the correct finger) and use the Ring Sizer PDF to determine its size.

In addition to the  "instant" Ring-Sizer available by printing the .pdf above, we would also be happy to send you the Multisizer ring-sizing tool (See image below)

Ring size Conversion Charts (for our international customers):

Use the charts below for conversion of US and Canadian number sizes to the "Wheat sheaf" system of letter sizes used in the U.K., Australia, Ireland, etc. Diameters and circumferences are also given in both inches and millimeters. Note that the measurements for the US are accurate while the other measurement systems are approximate. The reason is that the conversions don't always give standard, even results; so a standard Swiss size could result in uncommon fractions if converted to the US sizes.

Ring sizing gauges and finger gauges as well as published charts do not always agree with one another. There are also several ways of reading ring size gauges, which can lead to some discrepancies if you go from one jewelry store to another. The ring sizing information presented here is the result of a comparison of various sources and methods and has proven to be accurate. For more sizes, please click the links below.
